Haepsi Kebag

Haepsi Kebag

The Haepsi Patent EP3954625B1 relates to a new kebab packaging that is intended to eliminate the disadvantages of paper bags, which are usually open, or aluminum foil, which is often cumbersome to open for takeaway. The new kebab packaging is intended to save time and resources.

The special trick here (see Figure 3 of the Haepsi Patent) is that the corners 9 of the doner kebab packaging 1 located at the ends of the folded edge 6 are folded over in the form of dog-ears, so that the doner kebab packaging 1 has beveled corners in the area of the folded edge 6.

In contrast, the prior art, for example in D1 (DE202013104579U1), only shows a kebab package 1 with a folded edge 4, which, however, cannot have dog-ears due to its function, since the kebab is to be inserted into the bag section 2 via the folded edge 4 (see Figure 1c of D1).

Another prior art, D2 (DE202004003566U1), discloses an aluminum foil kebab bag (see Figure 1 of D2), which is produced by folding the bottom 4 and the side edges 3 several times. The aluminum foil kebab bag in D2 produced by this repeated folding is not folded again.
